A great picture, you can even see the water wagon watering down the midway.
My first thought was the Tom Mix Circus but more likely Downie or Russell Bros..
The most unique thing is the 2-pole tent to the right of the marquee that the public visits before entering the menagerie.

Is this an early shot of the famed Washington and Hill lot in Los Angeles?

Could be. Taken from the Mode O day building.
Roger, are you awake late or am I awake early?

Yes it is Washington & Hill. I'm wondering if possibly this is Arthur Bros before it became a rail show?

Having seen this picture before and asking none other than Tommy Bentley what that extra top was, ther reply is this: It is Russell Bros. Circus and the 2 pole top was a horse fair.

Or maybe Cronin Bros?

I think they had a "Horse Fair" in another tent.

From the Mode O Day bldg. OK, that's LA.

I'm awake late. I've been plagued with insomnia for way too long. Maybe some day I'll crash and burn and shut the hell up around here.
