This elephant is Vi, one of the three originals. The trick is described as a half turn on an eight inch ring curb. I had a young elephant who would do a front-leg stand in the middle of the plank walk which sounds easier. Note the whip in Floyd's hand, today you might get to use a small ankus painted black.
