Hagenbeck-Wallace Office Wagons #4

White Wagon 1935 now includes portraits of Adam Forepaugh and two of the Sells Brothers Lewis and Peter. The only reason being the titles were unused and with hopes that some people might remember them.

It appears that wagons 4, 6 and 7 are thye same wagon with different paint schemes. Is there a wagon expert out there?

It is and I believe this wagon is in Baraboo #75 They use to store all the cook house tables in it.

John- I'm no expert but you are right, they are the same wagon. This wagon now resides at CWM and is #11 Arthur Bros. Charging Tiger which we restored a few years back.

Since the HW-Forepaugh-Sells title was only used in 1935, pix # 4 and # 7 would have been the two different sides of the same paint job.

Just looking at all these wagons makes me want to make that trip to Baraboo to see some of them in person. Thanks Buckles.

Rebecca,
If you ever go to Baraboo, You won't be sorry. The collection is absolutely fantastic. During the summer a lot of the wagons are moved around outside where you have a much better view than when they are stored in the buildings over the winter. The old train cars are still there, three RBBB flats are fully loaded inside the wagon pavilion, the exhibits are awesome, and the Library.. well that's another vacation all by itself.

Bob, I used to go to Baraboo with JC many years ago. Jenda was there with his elephant. This was before I was ever on a circus. The trains caught my eye. It was very cold I remember so I did not get a chance to wonder off and look at too much. Giovanni Juliani and I had planned to meet there last September before I became ill to put the finishing touches on my book. We plan a trip this Fall if possiable.
