Life long friends #1

Despite what some of you might think, this is not an actual Civil War photograph but my good friend Jimmy Rossi and myself in Hugo, Oklahoma exactly 50 years ago trying out some uniforms purchased by D.R. Miller for the show's pageant "Historical America".
In this case hysterical America.

Buckles, it looks like we have both gained a little weight over the past fifty years.
With regard to all the hooray over the Ringling title, it seems to me that the term GSOE is still appropriate. Never was a circus and never will be.

I like to refer to it as being full figured.

I like to refer to it as being happy, content, enjoying good food with friends."some of us have more friend then others to share a meal with more often". .

In the clothing trade they have a great term for us overweights- they call our clothes "executive cut."

My X wore the "Athletic Cut" 32 trousers/42 coat. Like for a gorilla. He still does at 75 years of age. Still has the mind of a spoiled 13 year old boy. I have found the higher the price of a ladys garment the smaller the size tag. A size 6 is really a size 12. Check it out.
