This photo is verification that there was no excuse for Tanya Roberts riding that ridiculous looking zebra-painted horse in 'Sheena, Queen of the Jungle'. They should have made her ride a real one. It certainly can be done!

Sitting on a Zebra while it is being held by a groom posing for a picture is not riding a Zebra. Sheena, Queen of the jungle was bad enough with out the fake animals. If riding a Zebra were that easy, why are there so few riding them in Africa, etc.? anonymous doesn't know his/her Zebras. If you haven't lived around them you have no idea what they are really like. I have seen scars you would not believe caused by a Zebra.

Well, I sort of have an idea about zebras. I was nearly kicked in the shoulder just yesterday. But my point was, they only had to find ONE good one. I heard there was a zebra availabe to her, but she refused to ride it. I enjoy your comments on the blog, Rebecca!

Thanks Pat. I think we enjoyed more of the same things besides the blog. I never had a problem with the zebra "CANDY" that I presented. I shampooed him, lead him around etc. Never even tried to ride him. I did witness what he did to a couple of men. Not a pretty site for sure.

The first two zebras in this Jim Clubb act, Kenya and her son Nairobi (both Burchells), are very mellow. Like big ponies in pajamas. I have no doubt if he'd been started earlier, Nairobi could have been ridden. The other two Imron and Durban (both Grants) can be real stinkers! But they're a lot of fun, I truly enjoy them.
