I would love to see a review amd photos from the Sailor Circus. Do they still pitch a 3 ring big top at the school?
The windjammers were great Charley Schlarbann was wonderful = but we all mised the master where was the great JOHN HERRIOTT he was surley missed
The Sailor Circus "Big Top" is a permenant arena with a vinyl skin. Inside there is room for 4 "rings", however ringcurbs aren't used. Show for the Windjammers was a short sample, the full shows come later in the spring. Sorry, I can't review the show, my wife and I coach there. Check for upcoming shows @ http://www.sailorcircus.org/

I agree with Ray M that the event without Herriott was not the same. Concert of big band of course terrific but Sailor Circus acts without John, working with Charlie, to make it look more professional, just did not work as well. Someone should tell Sailor Circus folks, its really about the sizzle and not the steak. It was great to see these kids doing a really fine job but I assure you they would have been more appreciated with Herriott doing what Herriott always does.
Also thanks to Ray M and friends for a hangover the size of Texas.
Speaking of circus' are any of you going to see Circus Sarasota? You are all probably going on dress rehersal night, right? which is Feb 1st. I have never been and so looking forward to going this year.
A Frank Ball picture! Now there is a fan who took great care of circus folk! And what a collection of photographs of performers. Wonder who has that great collection?
