Ringling Circus World 1974-75 #2



This is Gary Jacobson with "Major" shown after we started doing shows in the arena. In the opening Montage, he pedaled a tricycle along with human cyclists, all wearing green hats like this one.Posted by Picasa

From where and when was Major acquired? How long did he perform with Ringling before retirement at Williston?

I took delivery on both "Major" and "Vance" at Circus World on Jan.1, 1975.
They came from Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach and remained in my charge for he next five years.
Today "Vance" resides at the Ringling Stud Farm and desposition of "Major" is unknown to me.
