Dear Jim- Actually this wagon provided electric power for the dining dept. in later years. It replaced the #2 steam boiler (Cleaver-Brooks) wagon that provided the steam for the steam tables/kettles and dishwasher.It was built in 1935. This wagon was built around 1952 when the generators were removed from the range wagons and the steam boiler was installed in the front of dishwasher #6 (old #90)wagon. Friend-Steve

I think that this wagon was used to light up the railroad yard for the night loading, and was never taken to the show grounds.
