I had featured Susan Lacey in the first series of Ladies of the Steel Arena, but it was a far off shot. I figured I owed this lovely lady a better close up.
She has now retired from working the Hawthorn White Tiger Act, and will be living in France.
Susan the Limey Lacy - My first meeting ,Brownsville, TX. Mr Atayde asked if Susan could follow us in route to Mexico City Show. I took over an hour bon tour getting out of Matamoros back streets. It was better than a 4th of July celebration. Never the less, after that tour we got to show together again state side. What a go ahead gal when it comes to unloading and off loading and over seeing road equipment for Mr JC . Was visiting Richmond quarters when she returned after a run. Within 24 hours the cats were unloaded, semi tractors were at the shop being serviced and her props and arena were at the welding shop for repairs. Will tip my chapeau to this gal .
We had a 4th of July party at Quarters and every time Susan came out of the trailer barn Roy & Gary, would start singing, "we fired our guns & the British kep a comin, there wasn't near as many etc", Susan gave it right back to them. She is a great gal & one of the hardest workers I've ever seen.

Mr. Burck, I am anonymous poster above. I am wondering if any of Susan Lacey's cats are in your act, if not where are they?
