There is a Christmas Card in circulation this year, in memory of Turtle Benson from his dear friend Cam Cridlebaugh of High Point, N.C.

Anonymous said...: Sadly, the last time I saw Turtle was at the military memorial service for Dr. Ralph Hartman, the great historian, who was murdered in San Antonio. Through sheer courage and will to live, Turtle kept up correspondence until the end, when most cancer patients can no longer function. I've kept all he sent me then. No man loved circus more than he.
