Pat Anthony #1 (From Shannon Ezelle)


Dear Mr. Woodcock,
I am not a circus person, but one that enjoyed them as a child. I had circus posters and other circus things throughout my room. Neighbors of ours had friends in the circus and they would take me to them as a child. I got to see some from inside. one of their friend that i saw several times was Pat Anthony. We would sometimes watch the circus from his truck. as a 4-7 yr old I thought he was the greatest. I enjoy your sight and love looking at the pictures. Thought a couple from the civilian side might interest you. so here they are. The one by himself is from Tom Packs Circus 1969. got it off the back of the pick. the other is with me in Wheeling 1971. Hope you enjoy.

Sometimes it is very interesting the hear from a non circus person sharing their views of the circus. It quite often reinforces what we are saying among ourselves, that traditional circuses, with animal acts have always been a favorite with the circus going public, world wide!

So PeTA, put that in your pipe and smoke it!
