I had a call from Cole yesterday asking if I knew what a pixel is and offering to do my scanning for me. I may be no Shannon Woodcock but I remember when Jimmy used to send me pictures to scan for him! Imagine running into Johnny Frazier on the blog. I guess he's an old man now- I sure as hell am. Many might find this amazing but for the most part dad runs the web site day to day.
He scans the pictures and posts the articles.
He is up early every morning, feeds his cats and then posts his articles and spends the rest of the day checking his computer for messages in between watching my urchins while I work. Only on rare cases does he call me.
He just recently mastered the art of Copy & Paste.
I look back at the monster I have created. Over 485,000 hits later this blog site has taken a life of its own. Hard to fathom from a guy who still wrestles with the remote control.
I think Buckles deserves a big THANK YOU MUCH! for starting the blog ball rolling, it has given many of us new friends, and has brought old friends closer together. I remember Jimmy saying, "not me, what do I need a computer for". Mary Ruth said you couldn't get John near the thing, and now you can't get him away from it, but he has enriched all of our lives with his input. There are still times when I don't know whether to use a 16, or 20 lb hammer, but fortunately I can't carry either one into the house, so Ill keep on bloggin!!!!
