I grew up "yes I did" in a town with these cobble stone streets. Mt Vernon IL. Went back to visit a few years back and they were all tared over. Asfault I think. The town had lost all its charm that I remembered. Kind of the way of RBBB. Some of this crew pictured are sleeveles and others all bundled up.
We were in Grand Island in June. Nice lot beside the race track, until it rained. I think we ended up with piles on seat boards on the ground to get those brave enough to come to the circus in and out of the tent without wading through 6" of water. Payloader was pretty busy the next morning in all that mud. On Carson & Barnes the outdoor season ended yesterday in Pearland, TX. Show goes home today, tent crew goes south. Still some arena dates in the weeks to come. Payloader go home too. Same piece of equipment has been working for 55 circus seasons. They used to build tractors to last.
