This is not a pony ride but a mechanic act. A young man has been seleced from the audience and after a rope has been attached, the pony will galop around the ring and the result would be something like "Cucciloa" in the De Mille Movie. Actually, this would be a sensation on the Ken & Nicole Show today, the announcer could talk uninterruptedly for at least 10 minutes. The man holding the pony is George Thompson (Red Cap) who at one time worked the famous John Robinson Military Elephants and later the Dolly Jacobs Elephants.
