Anonymous said...: I noticed something about these pictures. Most of the men are useing poles. The four legs on the chair served as a pole to me. I held a gun and chair in my left hand and used the German made whip [long stock] in my right hand. Never had a long whip as used to work horses. Time and styles change. Also the wardrobe. The more wardrobe the better the protection it seemed to me. Its really nice to see so many performers with so many different styles and to be able to compare them.; 20 September, 2006 13:34
