I can get a little too easily started seeing this. An improper, unsecured wild animal transfer, as depicted here, is inexcusable for anyone, anywhere. If anyone observed this, including the trainer, why was something not said and not corrected?
Obviously, if the animal gets out, he can attack anything in sight. Next, and just as important, someone will come running up wanting to kill the animal. This eleminates excuses for hurrying, shortcuts, or negligence.

Note there's no top on the small transfer cage. Doesn't seem it would have been much of a challenge for a bear to climb out.
My thoughts also Jim. But those were different times. So nobody questioned those things.
