From New York to Hugo #4

Odd that the General Agent for the show in 1951 was also named Miller but not related. This is Art Miller and a very enjoyable character. He was the master at finding a lot just outside city limits to avoid having to buy licenses.
He would approach a local farmer and explain that he represented a small dog and pony show and wondered if they could do a performance for the kids in one corner of his field. Imagine the farmers surprise when 40 semi tractor-trailers pulled thru his driveway on circus day.
It sometimes took a little squaring away.

Buckles,

Is this gentleman AKA Art "Doc" Miller? If so, I've bought circus memorabilia from him. Is he still around?

No, Art and Doc were two separate people.
