No. 15- Six Clever Ponies.

No. 16- Something quite new- A Skipping Pony.

The Caroli family! This was the only great European bareback family that never was in America.
Their leader, Enrico Caroli, is considered by many the greatest rider of all times; for some witness, he was even best of Lucio Cristiani. Enrico did perfectly the somersault from first to third horse, sometimes in comedy.
Enrico's son, Domenico, is today teacher at Fratellini school in Paris; his son, Enrico jr., is the actual ringmaster at Knie in Switzerland.
The Caroli had the second best european clown entrèe (even before Rastellis) as Les Francescos.
Is very odd that in this Altoff program neither Caroli nor Rastelli presents the clown entrèe, Althoff having potentially in the same company the best clowns of the time!
