I'm assuming the more ornately painted wagons are the ones wraped in thoes rather classy , precisely made protective canvas covers .

You are right. The picture above this one appears to be either a tableau or a ticket wagon.

Very nice ; Mr. Arno surely has the New York Style , Whit and Caliber at that place in time , in his Commertial Illustrating / Cartooning and just look at his Signature on that charming 1942 RBB&B Program cover. CLASSY HEH !
