Tommy Napoli, our first trumpet, and I were coming back from a cold one in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on the '64 Beatty show, when we saw Bee take down Billy Cox. Billy was underneath her and she was tap-dancing like mad to stomp him. Little Bobby Cline was screaming at her. Billy got hold of one leg and rode out her rampage until the other bullhands got Bee back in line. I was certain it was the end of Billy Cox, but he calmly got up and saw that justice was served.
