"Chang and Eng, the original Siamese Twins, were joined by a ligature growing from their breastbones. In 1842 they married sisters and begat 21 children, eleven of them Eng's. Chang died in January, 1874, and Eng a few hours later. Eng could have lived a day longer if he hadn't been so badly scared".
