Barnum's Museum #1


"Annie Jones, one of Barnum's many Bearded Ladies, for whom he had great fondness. In an arranged lawsuit he was accused of trickery in palming off a man and the case was tried.
Five doctors found the Bearded Lady to be a lady indeed".
