Sarasota Quarters 1956-57 #10

This was the main building of the Winter Quarters and housed many of the menagerie aninals on the ground floor and you can see their outdoor exercise areas along side. The upper floors were for used for making wardrobe as well as the sail loft where during the summer months, next years tents were also made. You may notice that the building's peak is off center since this was originally the site of the Sarasota County Fair and this structure was the Racetrack Grandstand.
