The Col. sure could spin a tale or two about " the Circus Life " with so much pride , enthusiasm and panache' one might feel like one was actualy experiencing the episode he was elaborating. Trevor was a Vigorious Circus Charactor from begining to end . I was proud and fortunate to have retained contact with him since the late 70's , clowning with him again in 1992 at a little Circus he put on at a Church across the street from his home for the local children. As an old man he still retained the enthusiastic spirit and drive he always had.

Bud, I think you hit the nail on the head. Who but circus people have that zest for life 40 years after the last show? Never a dull moment when telling the stories of years gone by. What other prefession can still be that exciting to so many people. Everyone has a story to tell and a welling group of people to listen in rapture to the telling. The stories will never go out of style and we can all share in the glories and gore we all lived through. Some of us anyway. We remember the ones we lost and honor them in a special way. This wonderful thing called BUCKLES BLOG.
