Al G. Barnes Circus 1937 Program #4

I believe this is an earlier Hagenbeck-Wallace photo with Horace Laird and "Kinko" in the back row and Poodles Hanneford and Earl Shipley in the center of the front row.

I didn't know that but Norma Rogers who was once married Mac MacDonald lived here in Ruskin.
She can be seen on the first elephant in last Thursdays Mac MacDonald #1 picture.
Her father Ray Rogers was the owner of Wallace Bros. Circus.
You may remember her sister Helene (Rogers) Hartzell.

I remember Helene & Johnny, if you think some of the Flying Act riggings today are weird, Johnny always had a Spring Board or Horizontal Bar, or some other gimmick.

My father told me that if you can't say anything good about someone, don't say anything at all. I met Emmett Jr. once. Sorry Dad.

Reminds me someone once said "Will Rogers claimed he never met a man he didn't like but he neve met Howard Cosell!".

Once on the Tonight Show they had 4 or 5 people tell the same joke in several languages, when it got back to English it in no way resembled the original joke. Look at the progression here, Pat identified JoJo Lewis, and we worked our way all the way to Howard Cosell! Don't get me wrong,"I love it"!!!!
