Venice Quarters #5

Part of the back door has fallen off and the overgrown area at right is where the clown prop shop and elephant barn once stood.
I went inside and took a few pictures but it was too dark for them to turn out.
Just to the right of this building is where the privately owned animal acts used to park and when I first arrived in Oct. of 1973 and while hooking up the lights for my camper, I happened to notice these innocent looking little ants down around my ankles, the next thing I know I'm doing the Mexican Hat Dance and pulling off my pants. My first experience with fire ants.

Regarding a loosly related piece of trivia, I recently heard that Kenneth is buying a condo here in downtown Tampa in an area called Channelside which lies in the immediate area of the Times Forum (Ice Palace). Not a particularly attractive part of town.

All this going to waste. Hollowed wall that could make a grand movie with the stories. Reminds me of Great Expectations, one of my favorite books and movies. and my life,
