Bell Bros. Circus 1946 #5

The tail end of Spec going in the back door and I want the ladies to style all the way around the track and not drop their arms until they reach the stake line after exiting the tent.
That's Camel Dutch Narfski leading the pony and monkey, buried and patiently awaiting me at Mt. Olivet.

I just noticed something about Dutch. The couple of years I knew him, he never raised his head. This picture reminded me of this. Did he have an injury or just very shy. I don't think I ever heard him speak either. He cared for the hippo MISS OKLAHOMA, The Rino, NICKADEMUS and the GIRIFF that I don't remember its name. This was at the Kelly Miller Winter Quarters and on the road.
