Obert Miller had his dog and pony revue on George Engesser's Zellmar Bros. Circus in 1923. This is D.R. riding "Mary".

Anonymous said...: DR was the biggest Circus Fan of all. I don't think he ever out grew being the kid with his own show. Kelly Miller was the Public Person and DR the Back Yard worker. I don't think DR ever wanted to be the Boss. Just one of the crew. Such a giant difference from the Feld family. The Millers Lived, Breathed and loved the circus. You can tell the Felds are just amusing themselves not really careing if the shows make it or not. Whats a few million dollars and a bunch of performers to them. They can't even put the performers names on paper. After this joke of a circus the performers might like it that way.; 05 March, 2006 13:56

Can you provide Mary's history ? I'm pretty sure I have 95% of it but the 1923 to 1927 years show up as Gollmar and Heritage Bros. I believe I have some wrong info somewhere.
