OK What is a heat merchant?
The Giant favors John Wayne.
We were making some fairs dates for Hubert Castle and when leaving one fairgrounds Jimmy asked if he could follow me to the next town with his sea lion truck.
I reluctantly agreed thinking, what mischief could he possibly get into while enroute?
After a while I stopped at a little filling station just to get a Coke, Jimmy followed me in. As I was paying the cashier Jimmy noticed a little kid running around behind the counter and demanded "Who's "unkus-punkus" is this?" The lady said "I beg your pardon" he repeated "Who's "unkus-punkus" is this?"
"Oh! that's Willie my little grandson." to which he roared "Well he's a cute little M..... F..... isn't he?
By this time I was headed out the door. That's a heat merchant.
I think the Cole Bros. giant was
Clifford Thompson.
He was about 7 feet 6 inches tall.
