Giant in this picture is unknown but the elephant man at right is the world renowned "heat merchant" Jimmy Reynolds.

Buckles said...: We were making some fairs dates for Hubert Castle and when leaving one fairgrounds Jimmy asked if he could follow me to the next town with his sea lion truck.
I reluctantly agreed thinking, what mischief could he possibly get into while enroute?
After a while I stopped at a little filling station just to get a Coke, Jimmy followed me in. As I was paying the cashier Jimmy noticed a little kid running around behind the counter and demanded "Who's "unkus-punkus" is this?" The lady said "I beg your pardon" he repeated "Who's "unkus-punkus" is this?"
"Oh! that's Willie my little grandson." to which he roared "Well he's a cute little M..... F..... isn't he?
By this time I was headed out the door. That's a heat merchant.; 11 March, 2006 09:30
