Ringling-Barnum Circus/Sarasota 1948


This is a publicity shot introducing Art Concello's new seat wagons.
Frank McClosky, Leonard Aylesworth, John Ringling North, William Curtis and Concello.
Aboard the wagon are a number of performers plus Hugo Schmitt and "Minyak".

PERU MOVE SET FOR COLE BROS.
Peru, Ind., Oct. 14--Cole Bros. Circus is scheduled to leave St. Louis Mon.(16) and is expected here Tues.(17) to start moving into its new Winterquarters.

Years ago, there ran in either BANDWAGON or WHITE TOPS, coverage of the seat wagon inventions of Cap Curtis and Concello. Advantages and disadvanages of both were discussed, with Cap pointing out why his was far superior to Art's.

One of the things I noticed on the Kelly Miller Show was the seats. All shiny and new looking. When I was on the show a million years ago they were the wooden slats and I was leary of climbing them. Happy Holidays To All,
