Sells-Floto Circus 1930 #2

This picture taken the same day, the guys seated on the ground with the pointy hats take care of the camels, zebras and various lead stock.
Elephants from L to R are "Tessie", "Peggy", "Sally", "Victoria", "Topsy", "Charlie Ed", "Tillie", "Kas", "Josky", "Young Snyder", "Freida", "Tony" and "Trilby".

As soon as I rack and stack this Blog I am out the door, bound for Sarasota to pick up the Colonel and from there to the Ringling Museum to administer wise councel during the days events.

Be careful don't let the Colonel talk to long....We want him fresh with a box car full of circus stories for the SHOWFOLKS TENT Banquet. The Colonel will be the Main Speaker on February 1, 2006 at the Sarasota - Bobby Jones Gulf Club.

I wonder if you can help me find out whether an older "Frieda" who was obtained by Cole Bros. / Clyde Beatty from Birmingham, Alabama in 1934 was, in fact, the "Miss Fancy' who was likely purchased from Hagenbeck-Wallace in 1913. And, if so, what became of her?
