I'm thnking, look at the muscles on those arms! Clowning is more physical than I ever thought.

We remember that Lou was a natural contortionist, which skill he segued into folding himself into his midget auto for one of the top classic clown numbers in memory. Lou was given impressive coverage in Fred Bradna's book, THE BIG TOP.

Of course, I remember watching Lou perform on the Ringling Show over the years when they came to Chicago. A fond memory for me was when Lou came to Milwaukee to ride a carriage in The Great Circus Parade. I don't remember the year but it was wonderful having him. Doc Henderson was in Milwaukee the same year. John Goodall

I still look like that after my proud career of loading show gear on trucks, ‘sept you need to add a 50 pound beer gut.

lj My body still looks like that. His head is better looking than mine. His chest may be larger than mine. Why I do not have a beer gut is beyond me. I do try.
