Stevens Bros. Circus 1948/ Dolly Jacobs elephants

As promised, this is the show in better times. Little Bob finally got an elephant act when he hired Dolly Jacobs for part of the season, my father was the elephant man. Behind Bob and Dolly doing the "oblique" are "Modoc", "Empress" and "Judy" imported in 1937 by Cole Bros. Circus and later in 1939 with the Bud Anderson Show, the first elephants Mac MacDonald ever trained.
In 1950 Bob bought two old elephants of his own from Mickey Dales who in turn had gotten them from the Ringling Show "Gollmar Palm" and "Sparks Babe". A lot of history with those two.
