Stevens Bros. Circus 1947 #3

As DeMille said in his movie "Watchful eyes search for a tiny tear in the canvas..........!".

Historian Leonard V. Farley was incensed by a comment at Little Bob's funeral that the showman never had time to shave. Quoth Leonard, "What a shameful remark about a dedicated circus man who labored to sell a few bottles of Coca-Cola and get his little show over the road." Leonard knew I wanted to take to the road and said he could spot me with Little Bob. That season never came, and I lament missing circus life as known on a show like this.
