Wallace Bros. Circus 1941/ Lee Powell #3


This is the grave site of long time Circus Press Agent Dexter Fellows. Not too long after this Powell joined the Marines and at the rank of Sargeant, lost his life at Tinian Island and was later exhumed and reburied at the Punch Bowl in Hawaii.

I never knew these men, or even heard of them, but looking at the picture causes a lump in my throat. I have seen some of the markers at Hugo and they are beautiful.
