Most photos of Leitzel were posed to conceal the overdevelopment of her right shoulder, the pivotal point in her record-setting planges. Being a small woman, her deltoid was noticeably out of proportion. In Copenhagen, her swivel snapped, and she dropped on her head and shoulders directly beside her rigger, Frank McClosky, who had glanced off at the wrong moment. Roger
