These clowns are really scary. They look like some of Steven Kings clowns.

These look like American circus clowns. What is scary to a circus guy is the loss forever of the professional ambience of their makeups and wardrobe, and the emergence of those from the Kenny Feld Clown School, whose appearances are so stringently picture-perfect they are devoid of character and half a rung up from Shrine clowns. I have this collection in my early, small boy's scrapbook, and each clown was named for me by the sure hand of Chuck Burnes. Roger Smith
