The train crew is using a hook rope to pull the unloading ramps that had been stowed beneath this cage wagon the night before. With the use of cross-over plates each wagon will travel from car to car and be unloaded at this point. With a show this size, to speed things up, another crew is somewhere setting up the runs for another section of flat cars so the unloading isn't confined to just one spot. Buckles
