Eddie Dullom (with an "O")

This is my dad and "Kay" with Kelly-Miller in 1950.
The five rings were pre-set with planks in each end, globes in rings 2 & 4 and a bottle-walk in the center.
The last five elephants in spec "Jenny", "Hattie" "Barbara", "Anna May" and "Kay" (that he had trained the previous winter) would continue right on into the rings and become the opening act.
This cart was built high enough for the axle to clear the bottles.
Does Eddie look scared shitless? You bet he does. On more than one occasion "Kay" would get hung up the shafts coming down from her head stand and tip the cart over.

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #24 (From Eric Beheim)

Although usually successful in keeping his psychotic outbursts under control while around others, O’Malley is occasionally provoked into revealing his true nature, such as during a confrontation with an old show hand who catches him tormenting one of Clyde’s tigers. These occasional lapses do not go unnoticed by the observant Jack Stang.

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #25

Using his various detective skills, Jack Stang eventually confirms his suspicion that O’Malley is the real culprit behind all the sabotage and mayhem.

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #26

To make good his escape, O’Malley creates a diversion by turning loose one of Clyde’s tigers. (According to some film authorities, A-list director William Wellman was brought in by John Wayne to direct the thrilling climax of RING OF FEAR.)

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #27

Discovering that a tiger is loose, Gonzalez-Gonzales rushes to warn Clyde, who just happens to be conferring with most of film’s principal players.

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #28

With the escaped tiger causing panic among the menagerie animals, Clyde attempts to maneuver it back into its cage.

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #29

While Clyde is contending with the tiger, there are frequent cutaways to concerned onlookers, such as these two clowns. (Are these actual Beatty Circus clowns?)

Ring Of Fear Synopsis #30

Clyde’s main concern is to keep the tiger inside the menagerie tent.
