BARBARA WOODCOCK said...: Buckles wanted me to mention the chairs. It seems that only the stars, director, and guest star were given chairs. And right from the get go they inform you that you DO NOT sit in any ones chair.( the reason being that they have to move every thing for each take so many times, it is just too much trouble.) But after the first take with Anna May the director offered me his chair. Then in turn each of the actors offered me theirs. Then I don't remember if it was the second or third day I had a guest star's chair like Keenen Wynn. Needless to say I felt very honored. Anna May did that for me. In the takes where A.M. had to run a long distance either Ben or I would send her to start then and one or the other would be at the second spot to send her on and Gary Jacobson would be at end of her run where she would stop.
