These are the tallest howdahs I ever saw. Looks to be a section added to the frame between the elephant's back and the chair. No doubt a thrill ride ahead of it's day.
The riders appear to be gentlemen and little wonder since the howdahs look top heavy and would have plenty of play. If I had to make an educated guess I'd say RBBB 1920's.

Buckles, can you confirm those howdahs as being either 1918 B&B, or RBBB in the 1920s? They look mlike RBBB in the 1920s style.
The wagon is the former 1903-built B&B Queen's float. It was rebuilt after 1917, seen in original condition in a Ralph Miller photo.
Can someone confirm the location as Rockford, IL?
