To accomplish this you had to get some extreme height. Being influenced by devoted dancers, and amazed by circus performers, my goal became to do 3 double clicks in a row. This and running up a wall to a back summersault were goals that I would never accomplish. (After three self inflected pile drivers that was enough.) It looks like Gunther was high enough to do the double click, and no doubt another frame would have him doing another. I met Gunther at Circus World; he was relieving himself in the urinal next to mine. He’d come down to Circus World because Irving or Kenneth told him to take Agnes to winter quarters. (A tragic story that you won’t find in my memoirs, and I’d bet Gunther knew that it would end poorly.) We nodded at each other because men don’t talk while peeing, but I couldn’t help noticed that we were almost eye to eye. Gunther was perhaps 4 inches taller than I was. This was not at all surprising to me that Gunther was gifted in height.Little Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08349846971044489337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8897242.post-79986179135026344502011-09-12T16:54:50.980-04:002011-09-12T16:54:50.980-04:00Look at the great face on the lead elephant's ...Look at the great face on the lead elephant's rider.
