The 2 "Lookout Lounges" on both

train sets were the Sandy Creek

& our well known Hickory Creek

Both "Creeks" have been

magnificently restored

Norfolk Southern has the

Sandy Creek & a private

New Jersey club rents

out the Hickory Creek

for high roller trips

The 2 Creeks were not identical

by any stretch but looked alike

at a distance & not together

The Sandy Creek has a back door

I rode this as a kid and in the rear end. There was not a door. Near Albany a helper steam engine was used. And that was exciting to see it pull up and latch on.

Are you 1 of Lloyd Jr & Joan's kids

or just a friend of the family Bill

Hickory Creek had been Lloyd Sr &

then LLoyd Jr's family car

I had 2 trips in it later on when

Baker Brown had inherited it
