It's Mabel Stark's big Prince. The shot is dated 1958, and was among Jungleland's souvenir post cards. After this era, Mabel seldom wore this full uniform in performance. It is among the 4 uniforms, made to order for her by DeMoulin Bros. of Greenville, Illinois, which were in her trunk when I inherited it in 2005. One other was also gold, one was blue, and one was white. In the inside of one jacket collar was a Japanese character which Ken Kawata translated for me as reading "Trees". When Mabel was in Japan, from 1954-1957, she was Mrs. Eddie Trees.
At any one time, Mabel had a dozen of these uniforms in her trunks. Having seen the one Parley Baer donated to the museum at the old Winterquarters, in Peru, I think it may have been this one. It is this yellow color, and he also donated these boots.
