I lived in this car for 2 year's. It was a very melancholy moment for me when I took his brass name plate off the door and put mine on. I offered it back to Charly, but he told me I could keep it if I wanted. I still have it. I felt awful when I joked that I wished he had put it on with screws, instead of pop rivets, because I almost couldn't get it off. With sad eye's he said, "I didn't ever think it would be taken off." For all his tough exterior, Charly was a cupcake inside. He reminded me about the night I slept on the floor when he got me tanked on his damn gin and tonic's during our annual GGW, CHB, and WGB birthday celebration at the train. The Gautier's lived across the vestibule, and that is where I shook Axel's hand for the last time, and wished him luck as he left for Florida. The Gautier's car was where Tex and Patty were living and where Ted was later killed. Lot of memories great and awful on the GSOE.

My mistake, I was always told it was Axel's car that he was in.
