Now this is exotic
Is she from the same family as Carl Wong, Kim Sue's dad?
WENDY: If you come back to this, no, Miss Wong had no connections to the circus industry. She was born Wong Liu Tsong on January 3, 1905, in Los Angeles. She suffered from racial bias on endless occasions, while still becoming a major film star. For one example, in 1926, she put in the first rivet of the new Graumann's Chinese Theatre, still standing on Hollywood Blvd., but was not invited to leave her hand and foot-prints in cement, as was that theatre's great tradition. She was at one time named the Best Dressed Woman in the World, and LOOK magazine titled her the Most Beautiful Chinese Girl in the World. Miss Wong died at age 56, in her sleep, on February 3, 1961, in Santa Monica. Read her many references, such as in Wikipedia, and on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), for excellent history for this lustrous star.
