My Wife's dog "Legs".

A rather touching story behind this dog.
My wife bought her at a Humane Society booth at the Florida State Fair with the sales pitch she was scheduled for euthanization. The story was a Little Old Lady could no longer care for her.
Incredibly Barbara managed to track down the Little Old Lady and they both wept over the telephone.
What the Hell? I already had three dogs piled on top of me at night....Whats' one more?

wasn't a bullshit scam

A little presumptuous pal

I know many of our late

friends are there but I'm

not likely to make the cut

This is Barbara on Buckles computer. There was another sister of Legs, who really came first. And her name is " Jazzy. " We now have five dogs. Oh yes, Patrick and Ray ( a high school friend that rooms with Patrick in our RV ) have joined out two more dogs, one small and the other a giant. Both beautiful. The first little Mr. Hanks came wondering on the property one day a few weeks back. They took him down to see if he had a chip, and put up notices all over the place. No luck. So one more dog to the Woodcock family. ( But it lives in the RV. ) Then two days ago up wonders a beautiful giant of a dog. Same procedure, but yes this one has a chip. Great we think we will find his home. The boys tried everything they even found the name. BUT THE PHONE NUMBERS HAVE CHANGED. They can not find the family. They have not given up yet. He is well cared for. But if they do not find his owner, it looks like the Woodcock Family will have another dog-----in the RV. First Cats now Dogs? They did find out that 6 years ago " Desi " that is his name was adopted at the same place where the boys took him. They even found out the family's name. But still can't locate them ???? I do hope they find the family for I would go crazier if I lost one of ours. We are going to have to put " Tuffy " to sleep. I keep putting it off. She can't see or hear. She has gotten lost at night 3 times. She is not well. She staggers and falls down & pees on herself when she fall & bumps into things. She is going on 17 years. I can't stand to see her suffer any more. And she never was like her name " Tuffy " she was always a doll. She is a Shih Tzu.....Barbara.....

BARBARA: I am too soon facing the same with my 16-year-old Mollie. Her breathing is becoming labored, she's increasingly disoriented, and she's stumbling. The vet said last week we'll have hard decisions coming sooner than later. Some of us know how this is, don't we...?

Barbara and Roger: I am so sorry for you both with the situation with your elderly pets. It is a heartbreak we never get used to. But there is comfort in knowing they will be on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge waiting...
