This is Gloria Drew (John Ringling North’s then-girl friend) in her big scene with Cornel Wilde. According to David Lewis Hammarstrom’s book BIG TOP BOSS – JOHN RINGLING NORTH AND THE CIRCUS, Gloria was a Georgia girl who was selling tickets in a small-town movie theater when North first encountered her. For several years, she lived the good life with him, including traveling with him through Europe while he scouted acts for the Circus. North eventually ended the relationship and, to soften the blow, had the Ringling family help her seek a career as a singer. Gloria eventually ended up back in Georgia where she did NOT live happily ever after.

Eric...Thank you for identifying Gloria Drew. Had read about her but had no idea that was her in the scene with Cornel Wilde. Also, thank you for the other information about her and John Ringling North. A Georgia native myself, I found that part of the story very interesting. Guess beauty cannot guarantee happiness ever after. Thanks again for taking the time to answer the question.
