#15 Show Folks!

The first year we sent Ben and "Anna May" out to Circus Vargas!
Cliff insisted on flying my wife out to California for the opening night performance and Party afterward.

I worked at a local CBS tv station and got Vargas plenty of publicity plus being a fan as well and we did stories no other tv even thought of.
I got invited to one of Cliff's parties and it was the best.
It was in January and Cliff had on his men's full length mink coat.
Then opening night Cliff called me out in center ring and gave me a award for all the help I did for them.
Memories of a great circus under the big top in will carry to my gave.
