Corky knew all the disciplines of showbusiness, from his family's rep shows, to every aspect of circus. In '72, Castle sent him to set up the 7-ring circus in Toronto's CNE lot. It had to be Corky, as our nominal prop boss wasn't up to anything on that scale. In winters, Corky took charge of re-building the show during the day, then worked in Dallas at night, in the legit theatre, the musical run, and the opera house as a union stagehand. The man could do it all.
